"You’re waiting for a Bane. A Bane that will kill you, potentially break your back. You know how you hope this Bane will make out with you, but you don’t know for sure. But it doesn’t matter, because he’s already made out with JGL looking fine as fuck in a cop costume"
Speedpaint; 1-2 hours. It would have been done earlier but I’m an idiot who doesn’t know how to save things so I won’t have to redo 45 minutes of work when my laptop kernel panics :(
This movie is going to be the death of me; seeing it again Tuesday for $5 (!!!) with some of my friends who have no idea what they’re in for.
12 hours working on this sucker over 3 days; I think the stripes alone took, like, half of that time. Not because they were exceptionally difficult (although folds get kind of tricky), but repeating patterns are hard to stare at for long periods of time and I tend to get distracted by, er, tangentially-related literature. Repeatedly. every five minutes.
The best thing about portraiture is probably the part where I have to look for references. joseph gordon-levitt please never ever ever stop wearing those gorgeous suits and making ridiculous faces to go along with them
jesus fuck i spent my morning working on this and now i have to go to clinic outreach in 10 minutes on an empty stomach, goddammit arthur
